Ministry
Prayer
We believe prayer should be at the centre of our lives as individuals and as a church, and we have a number of opportunities to pray together each month, which we encourage everyone to take part in.
If my people, who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV)

We run quarterly Women’s Breakfasts and a yearly Women Together Day. We have a vision to bring women together in a safe environment where they can be in God’s presence, hear the Word of God and be blessed. We believe that God is calling us to develop stronger relationships - where “iron sharpens iron” in the body of Christ.
Check the Church Events page for more information or email womentogether@lccstor.org
-
Second Sunday of the month (excluding August) is from 1pm - 3pm at Old School Hall, opposite St Mary’s Church, Storrington.
A scheme run by four Storrington churches which take turns to provide a two-course lunch and time of fellowship for those of any age - especially, but not exclusively, who would otherwise eat alone.
We would love to see you there!
If you would like to get involved please contact to Gloria Boocock.

The Lord’s Larder was started more than twenty years ago to provide food parcels for those in crisis. Parcels are specifically made to fit the needs of each client, with referrals from Liaise (the local debt advisory service), the Mental Health team and local GPs.
If you would like more information please contact Nick Peebles at nick@lccstor.org or 07377261827.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on a stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine for all men. Matt 5:15-16
VISION
The vision for the Men's Ministry is to become Godly men who are living out biblical truth as we demonstrate God's heart to our church, the community and beyond. This will be through a mixed model of outreach socials over a takeaway or BBQ, Bible study, accountability and prayer midweek several times in a year, teaching and worship at the annual Men Together conference at Dalesdown and serving others together. Through these we will grow as men in our individual relationship with God. Each month there will be an activity for the Men's Ministry so check out the church calendar for more information.
MISSION
Teaching men biblical truths to become the men God has called them to be.
Through a mixed model of outreach socials, Bible study, worship and serving together, we will grow as men in our individual relationship with God. As the verse states we need to encourage our men to shine the light of Jesus in our church, communities and for all the people we encounter. This will be through:
Light Nights - Meeting for a takeaway 3-4 times per year to socialise as a group of men over food. This is an outreach opportunity, and a safe space to bring non-Christian friends to.
Men Together - An annual conference for men of our church, but extended to other churches in the area and also will invite those on the periphery of church. It will be a day full of Bible teaching, worship, lots of food, fellowship and fun.
Serving Others - Working together as men to practically help and support others, such as the Women's Breakfast.

LCCS runs Alpha courses several times each year, the Alpha course is an opportunity to look at the big questions of life, faith and meaning.
Alpha is an unpressurised, fun and informative 12 week course, where you can enjoy some cake and drinks followed by an inspiring presentation on topics such as “Is There More To Life Than This?” or “Who Is Jesus?” followed by a chance to discuss what you've heard, air your views and ask anything you like.
For more information please email alpha@lccstor.org, or visit the Village Hub.
